Yesterday I went to the dentist to get my temporary crown removed and the permanent crown put in. No novocaine, no pain, in and out in 30 minutes. Okay, actually there was pain, when the receptionist said "$635 please." Yeah. And that was the least expensive of the three visits.
Anyway, Jesse had the girls at work with him so I went to pick them up and we stopped for ice cream on the way home because we went right past Udder Delights, which is an *amazing* hand-dipped ice cream place out that way and they have lemon-custard ice cream that is a pure taste of what heaven will be like. The girls got chocolate soft-serve cones and we were all diving in as we continued the drive home. From the back seat I hear:
Natalie: "How's your ice cream, Rooney?"
Madeline: "Mmmmm."
Natalie: "Don't eat it too fast sweetie. You'll get freezer burn."
